Recently, I went to the Paul Strand and Emmet Gowin photography exhibit at the Saint Louis Art Museum.
How was your Mother’s Day? I hope your kids/husbands spoiled you on your day. We had lunch with my family – yummy carnitas. Then we made last minute plans to go to the Cards game. It was Nora’s first time and Nathaniel’s second. They sat through the whole game thanks to the gigantic bag of cotton candy – yes, even dentists’ children (and their wives) eat cotton candy from time to time. Then we walked down by the Arch, looked at the over-flowing river, and had dinner on the Landing. It was a nice St. Louis-style Mother’s Day.
I have an overactive brain. I wish that meant that my brain was always in high-gear finding a cure for cancer or the means to world peace. But, instead it means that it wakes me up at all hours of the night/early morning buzzing with silliness most of the time. So, tonight instead of lying in bed trying to shut off my brain so I can get some sleep I will use my buzzing brain constructively to post some pictures that are my new favorites and that I’m sure will be favorites for the rest of my life.
